Heart Monitor to Hawaii!

March 17, 2013

2013-02-28 14.11.31It is amazing that not to many years ago I was working 100+ a week and wearing a heart monitor when I saw this great opportunity. I was sales manager for a food distribution company for 18 years and c0-owned a pizza franchise with 17  locations in the metro Detroit area.   I thought it might be just like any other networking business out there where you had to keep trying to “recruit” people.  But there was something different about the people that I met.  It  just felt different. They were great people.

Everybody thought I was crazy getting involved in this crazy business. But 25 months after, I replaced my income and left the food distributor and walked away from the pizza business. (Makes me hungry talking about food).  Since then, we have been partnered up with some great companies that we were able to bring our community to.

But now, everything has even grown faster!!

The compensated community (TEAM) that I have partnered with, has started their own business calledLIFE on 11/11/11.

We now have  great products that help people grow personally and in their leadership abilities.  We are just helping people get great information that can help them improve the 8 F’s of their LIFE (Faith, Family, Finance, Fitness, Following, Fun, Freedom and Friends).  Don’t we all really want that anyway?  Now we pay people to get great information out there in this crazy world.

Has it been a smooth road?  NO WAY!  But nothing worth having ever is!!  This business is better than it ever has been!

Not only does LIFE  pay you for building compensated communities, they have incentive trips that you can earn also.  Laura and I were just very blessed to earn a trip to Maui, Hawaii.  I have been to a lot of places but I have never seen anything quite like this.  We did not have to worry about anything, LIFE took care of everything!!

Thank you LIFE for a trip that my family will never forget!!  Thank you LIFE for changing my life forever!!

God Bless,

Joe and Laura Darkangelo

Stay at Home Mom’s testimony on LIFE!

November 20, 2012
Lisa Mangold

I’m Lisa Mangold, and I was a stay at home mom and my husband was a full time pastor when we were invited to learn about LIFE. Although we were initially skeptical, we decided to check it out because of the trust that we had in the family that invited us. The more we learned the more we realized that we had found a community of people who were truly committed to helping others in eight fundamental areas of life. Prior to staying home full time with our children, I had received an M.S. in Parks and Recreation Administration with an emphasis on recreational therapy and personal leadership development. This background did help me to see the value in what was being taught in books like Launching a Leadership Revolution. I became very excited about getting involved with Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady’s vision for leadership development and believed their ideas would have great impact on millions of people. Shortly after getting started, my husband began to experience a series of medical complications related to his previous battle with cancer and a transplant that eventually left him unable to work. This situation put us on the road multiple times per month for the past several years so he could receive medical care. Because we were subscribing to the materials, our family found that we looked at this situation with a different perspective than before. We found ourselves doing things differently, such as turning the hours on the road into time spent learning from the leadership and personal development CDs. We turned the hours sitting in hospitals and doctor offices into productive reading time, resulting in new insights from many great books, such as Personality Plus, The Slight Edge, Peaks & Valleys and LIFE. Our family’s life has been changed greatly because of the CDs and books we receive. Our children are learning from top leadership experts and adults who are great role models. The more we learn from the CDs and books, the more we realize how much about life, relationships and leadership that we did not know. Our involvement has shown us the benefit of life-long learning and we plan on being students for the rest of our lives. LIFE has definitely changed our perspective about struggles, strengthened our family relationships, provided us with hope about our future and helped our financial situation. We have found that being a member of LIFE is the only “hand-up” that we have been given throughout our struggles. We are now in the process of going from a family that has been dependent upon the government and others for all of our needs, to a family that is eliminating debt, changing our lifestyle and supporting worthy causes. We are excited to continue to share LIFE with all we meet, but most of all we hope that you trust the person leading you, learn more and get involved so that you can be blessed as we have! read less

Re-post: LIFE business major function!

October 29, 2012

It’s Monday morning after an amazing LIFE Business Major Convention. Thousands of people were recognized on stage for achieving new pins, numbers, and vacations.  From Thursday night through early Sunday afternoon, the LIFE community experienced it best information and inspiration weekend ever. The teams within the community have united together to break more power players than ever before.

With speakers the caliber of Chris and Terri Brady,Tim and Amy MarksClaude and Lana Hamilton,Bill and Jackie LewisGeorge and Jill Guzzardo,Dan and Lisa Hawkins, Mark McDonald, and Pastor Stephen Davey, I knew it was going to be a great weekend. However, what put it over the top was the enthusiasm and belief of the attendees. Never before have so many people advanced in the business and that belief spread to everyone attending the event.

There were many magic moments in Columbus. If you attended the event, please share you magic moments and key nuggets you are taking away from the major to grow. The LIFE Business is changing the world one person at a time!

Sincerely,

Orrin Woodward

Depth Viking Style!!

October 8, 2012

I love the LIFE business!!  What a difference it is compared to anything else out there.  When I was in the pizza business, my partner and I had to figure out how to sell more pizza.  I already knew how to eat more…..:).  With LIFE, we have a system that will teach us everything from start to finish!! And with a &49.00 start up cost compared to $80,000 plus in the pizza industry.

One of the latest system CD’s that just came out was “Depth Viking Style” (TEAM 759) by Tim and Amy Marks. I sincerely believe that it is one of the best teaching CD’s that this PC couple has ever produced.  I have listen to it multiple times and still learn from listening to it every time!!

If you are not on the training system and not plugging into the great community of LIFE, you are missing the most important part of living the life that you have always wanted.

Get on system, learn and let make a difference in this world!

God Bless,

Joe Darkangelo

Motivation

August 5, 2012

What drives us to do what we do?  We may think we know the answer but have we really sat down and thought about it.  Similar to goal setting we take very important drivers of our daily life for granted.  To properly focus on such important aspects we need to think, write, contemplate, ask others, refine and revisit.  Understanding our motivations will allow us to focus our efforts to drive greater results.

THINK:  wait until you are about to do something important in your professional or personal life.  Then step back and ask yourself why you are doing this?

WRITE:  document your thoughts so you can revisit and refine.

CONTEMPLATE:  test your motivations continually, have they changed?  Are they really the reason or have you found a higher calling?

ASK:  seek the opinion of others such as a spouse, friend, colleague or mentor.  Talking out loud with another individual will not only allow you to gain their insight but may open up thoughts to yourself not previously considered.

REFINE & REVISIT:  continuous improvement will drive clarity as you grow in your leadership capabilities.

Then take an additional step and consider what motivates those that will have an impact on your success.  In almost everything we do we need other people to achieve our desired outcome.  If we don’t understand their motivations then we are fighting blind.  Once we understand the motivations of those we are working with a true win-win scenario can be developed.  Take a business opportunity for example; how do we expect the person on the other side of the table to work with us if we don’t understand what motivations we are fulfilling by doing business together.

Understand why you do the things you do and why others do what they do.

“Motivation creates conviction and that converts to leadership” (C. Brady)

Keep Your Eyes On The Summit And Climb!

January 22, 2012

Keep Your Eyes On The Summit And Climb

One of my best friends and business coach, Joe Darkangelo, came to Arkansas to help us cast the vision of where Team/LIFE will be heading as we charge to one million people.  On a beautiful day, I decided I would take Joe on a hike up Pinnacle Mountain, a local hot spot for outdoor adventuring. The side of the mountain we had chosen to climb(the easy one) was closed so we ventured to the more difficult north summit.  Being a student of a system, I asked  for directions on which trail we should take on that side.  As we hiked down the trail, it soon became evident that the “expert” we had taken advice from was slightly off with the trail selection he had given us.  As Joe and I discussed what we should do next, it became clear if we would keep our eyes on the summit and just climb, a trail would appear.  So for the next 75 minutes, straight up we went.  There were no signs, trail markers, or footprints for that matter.  All that we knew was the summit was “up” so we looked up and climbed.  Finally, just as we had visualized over an hour earlier, we reached our goal and stood atop the summit!

No matter where you are headed in life, the journey is easier if you have a clear destination.  Enjoy the journey but keep your eyes on the summit and climb..

Helping Businesses Prosper….

December 5, 2011

Hi everyone,

I am so excited about all the Leadership Development material that has been getting out to Corporate America.  I always knew that I have been in business with the best leaders in the world and now I know it!  I have read the book “Launching the Leadership Revolution” ,(authored by Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward) a few years ago, but now I am studying it!

I have been meeting with many companies the past few weeks and what I am finding out is that they are looking for Leadership Development for their employees and partners.

The LLR series is perfect to help businesses grow in their leadership abilities.  At a cost of about $50 per month, and individual can get 4 leadership audio CD’s per month and a leadership book per month to help their business prosper! Most companies want this material but don’t know how to get it.  Now, we have it!!

The quality of this information is second to none!  I believe that the LLR series  has the top 50 leadership experts in North America to help any company of any size grow in their leadership qualities.

Stay tuned for future posts for the businesses and their stories on how the LLR series has help their company prosper.

Joe Darkangelo
